It all started in 1965 when AJANTA began with a vision to set up a manufacturing unit in Maharashtra to produce and process various kinds of textile fabrics.

Armed with high-standards of quality maintenance and the advantage of being forerunners in the field, growth in AJANTA was rapid. Soon enough, four Textile Processing facilities were commissioned, arrayed with modern machinery.

Subsequently, AJANTA and its associate Companies stepped into the world of commerce, operating from its Corporate Office in Mumbai, (Bombay) the financial capital of India. The next sequence in AJANTA's growth pattern was to conquer the global markets. With an altered mission and the consequent change in the size of the market, SHIRAV was born. Simultaneously, the group entered into the Export Market and its products were well accepted internationally.

SHIRAV INTERNATIONAL was born with the mission to get into the export of Dyes, chemicals and specialty intermediates for new generation of chemicals and dyestuffs.

Armed with the intrinsic need set quality standards that satisfy the global customer, we believe in the concept of satisfying the customer, the first time, every time. This key factor has helped us put together the finest of products with the use of current technology and qualified people to meet customers demand.

Firm in the belief that it is technology that will propel us in maintaining our distinct standards, we have armed ourselves our facilities such as High Performance Thin-layer Chromatography (HPTLC) used for the testing of Dye intermediates and Dyes, Spectrophotometer (Colour Matching Computer System) used for the evaluation of dyes. Over and above this we are outfitted with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Karl Fischer Titrator.
